EMS Boxes are used in the packaging of items posted.

The boxes aide in protecting the contents from damage that could happen during transit, handling and storage of the mail items.

Boxes help secure contents through the applied seal. This thereby denies unauthorized personnel from accessing the contents in the box.

The EMS branding of the boxes provides uniqueness to appearance through the distinct features making the mail legible.

The boxes are open for acquiring and use by anyone who wishes to do so. They are used by both EMS and the standard Posta Uganda mailing service.

The boxes are used for both domestic and international mailing of items.

Posting mail and the acquisition of boxes are separate activities that each attract own transaction charges
